My favorite memories from the door include playing the elevator game, running down to the store to get pints of ice cream, watching movies, and playing lots of trivial pursuit.
Moving in this year was one of the best memories I have in my dorm room. As my mom and I folded clothing and made my bed, I realized that life would never be the same and that life would drastically change. Having photos of my family and friends makes the freshman transition easier, but I still find myself looking at the pictures and missing them terribly.
One roommate and I decided to deck out or room for April Fools’ Day! We decorated our Canadian roommate’s side of the room with a ton of American things-flags, red, white and blue garland and balloons! Our absolute favorite holiday 🙂
My roommate and I used to have prank wars all the time. One of the most fun pranks I pulled on her was stacking all of her things on top of each other in the middle of the room and hanging all of her wall decorations upside-down.
well, i had broken up with my bf since 9th grade. I was so depressed that i stopped eating and was failing my courses. my friends decided it was time to brighten up. a couple of months later, i got the surprise of my life! when i woke up, i had my favorite breakfast served by all my best friends, and a new outfit i would wear for the my whole pampering day. in the morning we went to a spa and got ourselves treated like queens. then we went on a shopping spree to the mall, when i got a dress which i would wear to a party in the evening. Then around 7 my friends decorated the biggest party (thrown for me!) with almost all the students in my dorm and that’s where i met my future fiance (well hopefully in the future!) haha
That would definately have to be the fun make overs we would do (me and my neighboring roomates). It was just FUUUUUN! Like a girls night out but staying inside. 😀
Definitely, my favorite memory would have to be an event that happened a couple of weeks ago! It was my 21st birthday and my parents decided to surprise me with a visit. I got home from class and there they were, just coming in from the airport, with presents, balloons… basically the whole nine yards! I was so happy that I just started crying and next thing I know, someone’s knocking on the door. All of my friends start coming into my room with food, more presents, and more balloons! Apparently, my parents had this surprise visit planned for a pretty long time and they contacted my friends through facebook to plan a surprise party too! After that, we got to spend the whole weekend together, and it has definitely been the best memory I have from my apartment!
My favorite memory in my dorm was my freshman year and to give everybody a study break during finals we had a girls night in which included a twilight marathon pizza popcorn and tons of junk food! it was fun and a great unwind from the stress of finals
My favorite memory in my dorm room would have to be one night a few of my friends were coming to my room to have a movie night. We brought lots of junk food and snacks and watched nerdy movies..(I lived in the nerd dorm haha) So I had picked up my side of the room and pushed all my roommates’ stuff to the other side ( She was gone for the weekend..) And my friend came in and decided to run and jump on my bed. My bed was up as high as it would go and even had a step ladder to climb up on it. He runs from the door jumps onto my step ladder which folds up as he is lifting off of it, and runs his face into the wall…. needless to say his face was hurting for the rest of the night and he never jumped onto my bed like that again!
My favorite thing to happen in my dorm room has to be the movie marathon me, my best friend and a bunch of girls from my floor had this weekend. Between all of us we had 15 different classic Disney movies so every night we would all pile into a room with pillows, blankets and snacks and watch 2 or 3. We did this until we ran out of movies. It was a really good bonding experience and it was really fun to relive our childhoods!
After a hard week of tests, my roommates would order out and then just have a movie marathon .
My favorite memory is having a mini dance party with my close friends one random night 🙂 great music, awesome lighting, and just an overall great time!
I always love it when my boyfriend and I cook in my apartment. It’s always full of music, random dancing breaks, carrot pieces that go flying and so much fun and love.
Best of all, there’s a meal at the end of it.
I had a Christmas party with my friends where we decorated a tiny Christmas tree, drank hot cocoa, and sang carols! Complete with Secret Santa and a cookie exchange, this was the best party ever!
some of our guy friends decided to watch paranormal activity in my room. so the suitemates and i gathered all the pillows and blankets and piled them in the floor to watch the movie. it ended with all of the guys screaming and crying, and three different people yanking on my arms and freaking out. one of the guys was so scared, he wouldn’t even leave our dorm, so he slept in the floor that night. good times.
Was surprised with a home-made birthday dinner set up in my own room thanks to the sneakiness and love of my room mates and friends! it was initiated with candle lights with the dinner then followed by some crazy dancing performed for me by my room mates! ’twas quite lovely and humorously entertaining! luv them! 🙂
