Aside from the multiple movie nights, games played and gossip sessions experienced, the best one stands out from the rest. We celebrated both of my friends’ birthdays and Christmas all at the same time. We decorated the room with streamers and Happy Birthday signs, wore Christmas sweaters, bought fake mustaches, played Secret Santa and devoured the birthday cake. By the time we were done all we wanted was a snooze.
My favorite memory was taking lots of pictures in our new dorm!
Climbing on to a chair, precariously placed on my bed, that was being held by my friend as I tried to make a canopy, with glitter tulle cloth, over my bed. The cloth that I bought was cheap, and so the glitter kept getting onto everything, and now every time I go out, I glitter. No I’m not a vampire.
My favorite memory was when I first moved into my apartment with my roommates, our gas turned off (which at the time seemed like a nightmare). My roommates and I had to be super creative when it came to making food that we ended up making almost every meal together. It was a great way to bond and get to know each other
My favorite memory is when i had my friends over for champagne and a movie: sixteen candles!
My favorite memory of my dorm room is saying goodnight to my roommate from our loft beds like we were away at summer camp.
My best memory in my room was when I was having a party! One of my friends decided to bring this demonic-looking puppet doll as a practical joke, and we had fun scaring everyone with that. The next morning, before anyone else had woken up, me and my friend hung the doll from the ceiling fan so it was dangling right about everyone else’s heads. I doubt I have ever heard such loud screaming as I did when they woke up 🙂
One of my favorite things is chilling with friends late nights on weekends. We sometimes order something to eat or go get carry out.
My favorite memory at my apt was getting my first pet, a rabbit named Maple! She is so cute still today!
My favorite night in my dorm was a Saturday night Freshman year. Me and my friends were in the middle of finals week and to take a study break we decided to make my room into a fort. We made a giant fort and then ended up studying/sleeping in it for the rest of the night.
Last week was my roommate’s birthday so a bunch of our friends in our building filled her room with balloons and hid throughout our apartment. We surprised her with presents and cupcakes!
Damn it, I was going to do the Doctor Who marathon! ….anytime with my roomie but especially during our disney movie nights complete with tarot readings, dream interpretations! But also that time when I had a bunch of friends over, we ordered pizza and sat and watched the the new episode of Doctor Who….Rory and Amy 🙁
My favorite memory in my dorm room is a 20th surprise birthday party we threw for one of our good girlfriends. It was a Grease-inspired, “Pink Ladies” dance party, we hooked up the IHome with an amazing playlist and served bottles and bottles of pink champagne and pink macaroons and tasty treats. Though the room was tiny and stifling hot after hours of dancing, everyone had a blast and my friend was so shocked! We even plugged in a sparkly disco ball 🙂
My favorite memory of my dorm room is of me and my roommate hosting a late-movie party for the girls on our floor. We must have had around 30 girls squeezed all together in our small room! We had such a blast! And because it was such a success we now host one every month!
My favorite memory in my dorm room is getting ready with my floor mates for a girls night out! Even though the place was cramped, we still had fun getting ready and helping each other out with their hair and makeup for the night. That night made everyone in my floor a lot closer. Even if we live in different places now, we are still friends and often go out for a fun night out, just like that night!
I had a single room in first year, so the two girls next door adopted me as their “third roommate”. We had tons of fun but my favourite memory was decorating our rooms for the holidays, listening to Christmas music and drinking hot chocolate (from prepackaged mixes obviously… it’s college!).
