My favorite dorm room moment involves a group of six guys that lived around the hall from us: We were constantly playing pranks on each other. Our most epic pranks happened on the same day! First, I should say: We made friends with the boys quickly because we found out that if we kept our doors open and windows open, we could make what we called a “wind tunnel” (because it destroyed many papers!) that would keep our dorms cool when it was hot outside! One particularly hot day, my roommates and I decided to go out for an early dinner, and we kept our door open for the boys and had them watch our stuff! We came home to our door locked and closed, and stumbled in to find our floor COVERED with upside-down open soda bottles filled with water. Seriously – every square inch. Lots of mopping for us! For revenge – we immediately started collecting recyclables from EVERY room in the dorm (12 floors, 8 rooms on each floor… you get the picture!). We later barged into their dorm while they were in the middle of a pong tournament and poured every piece of recyclable items in their common area. It was epic 🙂
Freshman year, I hosted a Star Wars marathon, of all 6 movies – it was lengthy bit of time (iterrupted by food and some naps), but well worth the memories!
My favorite memory so far would definitely have to be freshman year for my suite mates birthday. While she was away in class, her roommate and I blew up at least 100 balloons, and covered the floor with them. Then we put streamers all over the room and across the door so when she walked in, she’d have to walk through the streamers. Our other suite mates baked her a cake and iced it for her.. Unfortunately, they iced it while it was still to warm and when they tried to give it to her, it fell a part and got ALL over her! Thankfully she wasn’t mad! (But we did have a lot of cake to clean up!)
Me and my roommate would pretend that the floor was hot lava and would play small fun games like that with each other.
My favorite memory/memories in my college dorm was my roommate, hallmate, and I having movie nights. We would make popcorn, brownies, macaroni and cheese, etc. and gather around one of our laptops and watch Netflix movies/TV shows for hours. After, we would talk into the early hours of the morning about classes and boys.
Five words: ninja Valentine’s Day card delivery.
My favorite memory is when I made a treasure hunt in my room for my roommate which ended in a basket of nice things!
Every Saturday my brothers and I have sibling time. We live in a house together and we cook a large breakfast together on Saturdays. It is the best to have a lazy morning cooking with your sibs, staying in your pajamas and listening to music that we all sing along to!
Dance parties/ Jam sessions with my roommates
Best memory was the time my friend and I were playing Mario Kart Baby Park and I was determined not to go to sleep until I had beaten her. We played it over 70 times and for 8 hours straight through the night. Still have not beaten her.
Building a giant fort in the living room & spending the weekend watching old movies with friends while laughed and talked till the sun came up. Best memory EVER.
xoxo

My favorite memory was singing and dancing while baking gluten-free brownies with my freshman roommate who had Celiac’s disease.
I actually have good memories of move in days. I got to meet a lot of new people, spend some time with family and old friends, and there’s usually good free food and events after moving in.
My favorite memory is when my roommate was out watching a live rugby game and texted me on her way home telling me she had a surprise for me. So i decided/ to surprise her back. i had the creepy guy we knew hide behind her bunked bed so when she got up on her bed he could grab her leg. She screamed so loud. And the surprise she had for me was my favorite meal: macaroni and cheese from Panera. lol 🙂
My favorite memory was from freshman year. My friends through me a surprise birthday party in our room. It was so sweet of them to do especially since we had only known each other for a month. After that, I always knew that I had amazing friends that loved me 🙂
Having sleepovers with a new friend and her roommate- I had never stayed over with a friend until college 🙂
