Coca Cola Crammer Keeper iPod Touch

With school getting back into full swing, it’s no secret that we could all use a little boost in getting back into the daily grind. Studying, memorizing and presenting is not an easy feat for any of us, and memorizing pages of material for those dreaded exams is probably one of the most stressful parts of college.

In an effort to add a little fun to the memorization process, Coca-Cola has launched the Crammer Keeper, a free new online tool that turns notes into catchy tunes…helping you memorize your notes in a new and fun way. Users can select the voice, choose a track genre (hip hop, rock, etc.) and then download the song onto their computers and share with their classmates and friends. Might as well turn your boring notes into a hip hop single, right?

It gets better, though – to help spread the word around the launch of the Crammer Keeper, Coca-Cola is giving away an iPod Touch to one lucky CF reader! Read on for all the details on how to win!

  1. Definitely sleeping! I also highlight my notes a lot, and I repeat the highlighted sentences, words, or phrases out loud.

  2. My best study tip is actually to sleep after you do your studying. I find you recall a lot more information than if you just stay up all night.

  3. Going to the library away from all distractions and listening to classical music. Also writing everything done or saying it aloud always helps me remember!

  4. Go to class! For some professors, they let you record their lectures. It’s a great study tool for heavy lecture courses.

  5. My best study tip: following the stuff laid out in Cal Newport’s book “How to Become a Straight-A Student.” Best $12 I’ve ever spent. On Amazon, you can read a good bit of the book for free…give it a look!

  6. My study advice is to use a free flashcard program that is also available as an application for the iPod. This way, you can study during short breaks, while waiting in between classes, riding a bus, etc…

  7. I’m all about mnemonic devices, where applicable. Other than that, I just try to find a way to relate the material to something relevant to my life, so that it sticks better. Lots of repetition over the course of a few weeks helps!

  8. I am a huge advocate of taking short breaks in studying. I make goals to study for an hour and then take a ten minute break where I can do whatever I want! Knowing I’ll allow myself some Facebook time or whatever makes it less tempting to get off track.

  9. my best study tip is to wait until the last minute to cram so that everything is fresh in your mind! nah, my #1 study tip is actually to study during ‘break’ periods… lunch, in the car, plan out your schedule with gaps so that you get in little bits of info little by little.

  10. I take a lot of notes and review them before the tests. I also listen to instrumental music while study and stay away from distractions and other people.

  11. My best study tip is to get organized in the beginning of the term so when it’s time to study you will already have everything together rather than struggling to put notes together a few days before a test. Also, I personally use online flashcards so there is less clutter for me when I’m studying.
