Coca Cola Crammer Keeper iPod Touch

With school getting back into full swing, it’s no secret that we could all use a little boost in getting back into the daily grind. Studying, memorizing and presenting is not an easy feat for any of us, and memorizing pages of material for those dreaded exams is probably one of the most stressful parts of college.

In an effort to add a little fun to the memorization process, Coca-Cola has launched the Crammer Keeper, a free new online tool that turns notes into catchy tunes…helping you memorize your notes in a new and fun way. Users can select the voice, choose a track genre (hip hop, rock, etc.) and then download the song onto their computers and share with their classmates and friends. Might as well turn your boring notes into a hip hop single, right?

It gets better, though – to help spread the word around the launch of the Crammer Keeper, Coca-Cola is giving away an iPod Touch to one lucky CF reader! Read on for all the details on how to win!

  1. I make sure to take really good notes during lecture and then I rewrite my notes a zillion times before the exam. Also, I make sure to get a good nights sleep the night before the exam and eat a healthy breakfast in the morning.

  2. My best study tip is to know what material you need to cover and cover alittle bit at a time in the week before your exam and then the night before try to cover it all in a more compact version. That morning I generally don’t even look at the book. Since you mind will already have the information you don’t need to stress yourself out. It just takes some time to allow your brain to remember and comprehend. This repetition will also help you remember for when your finals are here.

  3. I write out the study guide and all the terms from the test. Writing them out by hand helps me to memorize them even before I go over the study guide I have made.

  4. 2 words: Google Docs.

I immediately turn to this helpful tool provided by Google the week before a huge exam. It easily sorts out my study guide, helps me visualize what I am studying, and I can even e-mail it to my classmates who can help fill out the unknown answers!

I discovered this tool last semester, and it helped tremendously. I highly recommend it to anyone who is not the best test-taker (like me)!

  5. I use lots of color when writing my notes(Different color pens, hi-lighters, etc.). Studies have shown that using color helps the brain retain, so it makes sense to me. Also, when I have a diagram or illustration (such as in anatomy) I draw it out and make it a coloring page.

  6. Being organized is definitely the biggest part that helps me study. Sometimes when I take notes they are sloppy so I’ll go through and highlite the important parts or rewrite them on a new page so I’m not flipping through several different pages.

  7. I like to make my own study guide. It condenses my notes to a manageable amount of information and makes them more organized.

  8. My best study tip would to turn off all the electronics in the room and just sit with books open. Write down all you need to study and read it out loud. If you have time actually make a song out of it. ;]

  9. I do a triple-hitter of flash cards, folding my notes in two to quiz myself, and putting together a study group. The flash cards and notes help me get all the information down fast, while being part of a study group helps me to get new information from notes I may not have taken.

  10. Study with friends, so you can help each other, somewhere quiet with no computer an tv preferable! Of course it doesn’t hurt if you start studying ahead of time and not leave it for the last days!

  11. My best tip is to make flash cards that are small enough to fit into your pocket and to study those whenever you have free time! This really helps when it comes to foreign language vocabs, chemical compositions and other things that need you to memorize it. I start doing this 2 days before the test! One day before the test I have my friends and family help me by giving me the flash cards! It’s a good way to understand your material and to stay organized. Plus you’ll have all the stuff you need for the final ready and you won’t have to keep looking at your notes and learning stuff you don’t need for it.

  12. My best study tip would have to be using the 3-step process:

    1. Re-read the chapters/material, highlighting key words, events, etc.
    2. Have a friend quiz you on those you highlighted and write down what you don’t know.
    3. Attack what you don’t know with your favorite memorization method, I am very much so a flash card/repeater type and passed all my finals with flying colors thanks to my flash cards.

  13. My best study tip is to take time before you start to get centered and focus. For me, this is carving out time for yoga or a short run. If you’re feeling good about yourself and doing something positive with your body, your mind will follow.
