Coca Cola Crammer Keeper iPod Touch

With school getting back into full swing, it’s no secret that we could all use a little boost in getting back into the daily grind. Studying, memorizing and presenting is not an easy feat for any of us, and memorizing pages of material for those dreaded exams is probably one of the most stressful parts of college.

In an effort to add a little fun to the memorization process, Coca-Cola has launched the Crammer Keeper, a free new online tool that turns notes into catchy tunes…helping you memorize your notes in a new and fun way. Users can select the voice, choose a track genre (hip hop, rock, etc.) and then download the song onto their computers and share with their classmates and friends. Might as well turn your boring notes into a hip hop single, right?

It gets better, though – to help spread the word around the launch of the Crammer Keeper, Coca-Cola is giving away an iPod Touch to one lucky CF reader! Read on for all the details on how to win!

  1. A study tip that has helped me ace all my tests is to make up acronyms or little sayings for concepts or words i tend to forget a lot. they’re fun, creative and really easy to remember. nothing like making a jingle to memorize the periodic table!

  2. Hey! I actually have a few tips to improve your study sessions:

    1. Drink lots of water. Your mind works best when hydrated.
    2. Get a good night’s sleep. The rest will help your mind synthesize learned information.
    3. Listen to classic/instrumental music while you study. It will act as white noise without being too distracting.
    4. If you have something you need to memorize, type it in a hard-to-read font. Studies show it is easier to memorize information when it is typed up in an unfamiliar typeface.
    5. Work in 30-minute sessions, and then take a 5-minute break. This will keep you focused without burning you out.

    Good luck, everyone! 🙂

  3. My best study tip is to get plenty of rest the night before and have a balanced healthy breakfast the morning before. I also study over time. I make note of when the test is and study a little everyday and do a final review the night before.

  4. My best study tip is to remove all temptations and distractions. The minute i know I have to start studying is about the time I feel a sudden need to clean my room, make a meal, check facebook, and basically do anything but study. I get the most done when I go to the library without my laptop and block out a few hours for nothing but studying.

Another thing I would recommend is to treat yourself to a snack/drink you really like. When I’m dreading studying, the thought of a nice frapuccino cheers me up and helps me keep going.

  5. Dear CF:
My study system includes taking notes in all my classes. Then on a daily basis until test day I can reflect back on my notes. I also use the flash card system to study, especially when studying multiple choice exams. I love open book exams and still utilize my notes/flashcards. Thanks for great contest CF and Coca Cola.

  6. My best study tip is to study in short bursts. This works especially well during midterms or final exams, because you can study something like biology for half an hour, take a ten minute break, and then study something like english for another half hour, then back to biology. This strategy helps me to stay intensely focused for that half hour I’m on one subject, plus it eliminates the frustration that comes with studying one subject for hours on end.

  7. I’m a graduating student nurse and this are my SURVIVAL TIPS IN COLLEGE

    composed of 5 steps:

1.) REST; a good night sleep may help free your mind from tensions and stress.

2.) STUDY IN THE MORNING; try it! when you wake up, you will remember most of you reviews the whole day.

3.) REWRITE: this may seem tiring, but it really works.. it helps you memorize easily.

4.) ACRONYMS; using acronyms is one strategy to memorize objective data, just make sure that you can make a word with those acronyms. this one helped me in passing my pharmacology and anatomy subject.

5.) FEED YOUR BRAIN; so how do you feed your brain? well.. one is good oxygen and you can have it by being healthy, and the second one is.. GLUCOSE, where can you get this? by eating carbs and other products containing glucose.. just like my favorite COCA-COLA! one of my stress busters!

  9. I like to use color coded flashcards, so that way I can divide a subject into parts. For example, with ochem I can divided the colors into reactions, naming, etc. It’s great to help compartmentalize large amounts of information plus you can take flashcards everywhere with you and study during spare time! Then before a test I take a deep breath because I know that I have learned the material 🙂

  10. My best study tip would probably be not to cram. Do a little studying, but don’t study too much because then everything starts to run together and it’s a little overwhelming. I usually study for 1 hour and then take an hour break and repeat that pattern until I have covered all of the material I need to (if it starts to get late, I quickly skim the rest of the material and pick up where I left off the next day).

  11. I shared this tip with my friends as well. Using acronyms and funny sayings help. You look over a paragraph or a page, then you highlight the most important parts and the revise it into your own words to makesure you really understand. Then take the first letters and make a phrase you can never forget. It works for my friends and I excellently and when I remember those key facts I also remember the sret of the text because of how much I had looked over it before.

  12. My best study tip is to study in 30 min- an hour intervals. Study one subject for about an hour then go take a break. Come back after 15-30 min and review for that subject. If you didn’t pick up much, try again. Do that a few times, then move on to another subject.

Another tip is to turn everything off or put on some calming music when studying. I know I can’t focus when there’s a t.v show on that I really like or upbeat music that I just want to dance to instead of studying.

  13. Hi all.
I am not giving you a lecture but just shering my thoughts with you.
Study whatever you want, whenever you want, choose your way to study, dont study for a long time.means 4-5 hrs continue.Studing 4-5 hrs continuously is not a definition of hard study.if you study for 1 hour and you learn something from that 1 hour studing then only it is useful.other wise it is just a west of time.take break from study, play whatever game you want, watch tv.
Just study for your self, your personal growth not to get a degree only.Of course degree is must but you should learn somthing while getting degree.
Just enjoy your self, enjoy studing, enjoy life because that is also important.
    Best of luck to all.
    Thanks

  14. My best study tips are to get a good night sleep.
Make flash cards the day before.
I have come to find out when you are writing things down on flash cards it helps you remember the information more.
Also, before you take your test take a few minutes to look over your flash cards.
So when you come to the test, the flash cards are still fresh in your mind.

  15. To study, I usually take out a sheet of paper, or a few depending on how big the test is, and I rewrite everything I need to know. Only one time works for me most of the time, but no more than 2 or 3 times and I have all my information memorized.
