Coca Cola Crammer Keeper iPod Touch

With school getting back into full swing, it’s no secret that we could all use a little boost in getting back into the daily grind. Studying, memorizing and presenting is not an easy feat for any of us, and memorizing pages of material for those dreaded exams is probably one of the most stressful parts of college.

In an effort to add a little fun to the memorization process, Coca-Cola has launched the Crammer Keeper, a free new online tool that turns notes into catchy tunes…helping you memorize your notes in a new and fun way. Users can select the voice, choose a track genre (hip hop, rock, etc.) and then download the song onto their computers and share with their classmates and friends. Might as well turn your boring notes into a hip hop single, right?

It gets better, though – to help spread the word around the launch of the Crammer Keeper, Coca-Cola is giving away an iPod Touch to one lucky CF reader! Read on for all the details on how to win!

  1. My tip is to take a break from some studying every few minutes. Although, I make sure not to take very long breaks, unlike a certain boyfriend of mine. Short, five minute breaks every 30 minutes to an hour will help calm you down from the pressure of upcoming tests and such. It also helps me to, even if it sounds crazy, just to be on the phone with a few friends. I make sure they don’t get off track from studying as well. It’s better to study in groups than by yourself. Less stress = better outcome.

  2. To adequately know the material I have to write down everything, from class notes to my own definitions. Speaking the information/teaching out loud is also effective! My roommate probably gets annoyed sometimes :D. When I was little what would always help was lining up my stuffed animals and pretending I was the teacher. Their cotton-stuffed heads are now filled with 4th grade math. It was the only way I got through math or learned it, for that matter.

  3. Hmm, my best study tip would definitely be to keep a bottle of water next to you. That way, if you get thirsty, there’s no excuse to walk to the kitchen and kill an hour avoiding your work. Also, just taking that sip can be a short time-frame for you to take a deep breath and re-focus, not to mention that water is great for you too!

  4. My tip is too color code. It helps you stay organized. And also, if you find starring at pencil or black pen boring, try getting colored pens in fun colors, like pink, purple and orange.

  5. the best study tip is to review my notes everyday instead of waiting until the last minute. that way I can learn them slowly without the pressure of a deadline.

  6. set a study time, then make a list of all the things you want to get accomplished within the time frame you set for yourself, and check the things off as you get them done. it helps to turn off the wifi capability on your computer and turn your cellphone off as well. 🙂

  7. What Ive learned to be the most helpful way to study is to study in 50 minute increments instead of cramming information in all at once. By doing that, you can avoid frying your brain and you’ll process the information better.

  8. I take all of my need to know words and make one-word associations with them so that when I think of the first word I think of the second. It makes all definitions easier!

  9. As soon as I read the instructions I thought of one thing, quizlet.com. In freshman year it took me some time to adjust to college. And my first semester, like most college students, was my worst. I had gotten a C in Spanish 1. I was definitely not proud of it.
So the next semester, I was browsing the internet as usual and I came across quizlet.com. It’s a website that allows you to create your own flashcard sets. At first I thought it would be an easy way to look through flashcards. and then I realized I was really learning. I would add the next set of vocab words from the chapter of the week. and I would go through the games every night. just for an hour or so. and when the tests rolled around, I wasn’t scared at all.
At the end of the semester I had an A! I made the dean’s list that year and from now on I’ve been using it and have made dean’s list 4 out of my 7 semesters at college. I am so happy I found this website and I hope everyone else tries it out, even for one test.
    Happy studying!!!!

  10. Find ONE smart friend in that class, and study together. Any more than one, and you’ll just be chatting the entire time and get nothing done. But if it’s just one-on-one you guys can review together and teach each other the concepts you don’t understand. And teaching is a great way to reinforce!

  11. I have to be in an area where there isn’t too much fluorescent lighting. I must eat before I go or else my stomach will be super distracting. Bring lots of water, highlighers, notecards!! And sitting in an upright position with my legs touching the floor or else I’ll start falling asleep. 🙂

  12. I set aside time to study each subject I am taking, in 30-minute to 1-hour sessions every day so that I keep the information I’ve learned clear in my head. I also reread, rewrite and restate everything I’m studying. That way, I hear it and see it and think about it.
I also make sure to get a good night’s sleep and eat breakfast before a big test happens.

  13. I rewrite all the information I need to know on colored paper – makes it more intersting & I retain the information better if I write it down again!

  14. My best studying tip is to do the work as you go along – doing all the reading and taking good notes makes it easier to review at the end (and builds your understanding of the material). But the most important thing is to get enough sleep and make sure you understand the assignment clearly – I once bombed a final because I misread the instructions!
