Coca Cola Crammer Keeper iPod Touch

With school getting back into full swing, it’s no secret that we could all use a little boost in getting back into the daily grind. Studying, memorizing and presenting is not an easy feat for any of us, and memorizing pages of material for those dreaded exams is probably one of the most stressful parts of college.

In an effort to add a little fun to the memorization process, Coca-Cola has launched the Crammer Keeper, a free new online tool that turns notes into catchy tunes…helping you memorize your notes in a new and fun way. Users can select the voice, choose a track genre (hip hop, rock, etc.) and then download the song onto their computers and share with their classmates and friends. Might as well turn your boring notes into a hip hop single, right?

It gets better, though – to help spread the word around the launch of the Crammer Keeper, Coca-Cola is giving away an iPod Touch to one lucky CF reader! Read on for all the details on how to win!

  1. It helps me if I study in natural lighting during the day, I try to avoid studying at night. It also helps me to study in a place other than my room, usually Borders or the library. Ironically, it can’t be too quiet or else I can’t concentrate. Handwriting my notes again sometimes helps me too.

  2. My best study tip is go to a nice, quiet location and to recite things out loud. As silly as it sounds, it works great because it really helps you remember everything and in a way, visualize things. I like to memorize things into groups (like of 3 or 5 terms) as it makes remembering a whole list of terms less daunting.

  3. Whenever a big test is around the corner I take my notebook, at least 4 or 5 days before, and rewrite them all onto notecards. It is time consuming but writing them down again keeps them fresh in my mind. Everyday leading up to the test I memorize part of the pack and the day before do a round of all of the notecards and get a good nights rest.

Its also nice to create a atmosphere ready for studying. Whether youre studying alone or with friends, isolating yourself from distractions and having your favorite snack handy makes it easier and much more comfortable.

  4. When I really need to focus and get down to business that means temporarily deactivating the old Facebook, heading to Pandora to listen to my Beethoven channel and laying out all my resources in front of me whether it be on my bedroom floor or in the library. I like to read over all of my previous powerpoint lectures from classes that the professor posted and then go over my own notes for repetition.

  5. I get old exam questions, and after I revise a chapter I go through them all, writing from memory why it is that answer and not the others (multichoice exams yaaay). Thats my best study tip, therefore it’s not just hoping your professor puts in old exam questions you leanr the reason why just incase something a bit different pops up.
    Gotta love Spanish laziness

  6. Honestly the best study tip I have is to be confident in yourself and saying that you are going to do well! When I started my uni Freshman year I would always be terrified when taking tests. Psyching myself out every time I had an exam ultimately resulted in a not-so-great freshman year. Sophomore and Junior year I noticed that the more I became relaxed and confident in my ability to do well on my exams, the better I did. Sure plenty of hours studying and thousands of notecards can also do the trick, but I find I do the best on tests when I relax while studying and ultimately just believe that I will do well on the test!

  7. My best study tip is to set a goal! By setting a goal and knowing what you want to achieve that day, it makes studying so much effective. You won’t be distracted by other things as distraction would only take you a longer time to achieve that goal or not even achieve that goal at all!

  8. I always use flashcards (Quizlet, anyone?) to refresh my memory. Oh, and I turn off my laptop/phone/etc. The internet is the biggest distraction known to man.

  9. I always go back over the notes I took in class & then use the textbook to fill in details that I didn’t write down or can’t remember.

  10. My best study tip is to take notes on readings throughout the semester – it makes making a study guide so much easier before exams. I also find it so helpful to take little study breaks – like getting coffee, going for a little walk – cramming is good, but I get restless otherwise!

  11. My best study tip to know what you are writing down as you write it down, then later, you won’t be looking at a jumble of words.
Oh and music is the best for breaks, DANCE PARTY!!!

  12. Make a condensed packet of notes, study with friends who will keep you on task, turn your internet off if needed. And quiz yourself! I don’t know how many times I’ve thought I knew the material until I tested myself.

  13. To memorize facts I come up with silly names or sayings. The sillier the better!

Also a good night’s rest and a good breakfast will make your brain more active and better prepared!
