Anna Sui’s Gossip Girl-inspired collection for Target won’t launch until September, but it is already generating lots of buzz. In case you’re out of the loop, Anna Sui announced a few weeks ago that she will be doing a capsule line for Target, following in the footsteps of Alexander McQueen, and the line will be inspired by the four main female characters from Gossip Girl. The line will be available in Target stores and online September 13th through October 17th.
I know many of you are Gossip Girl fans, so I thought I’d update you on the latest with this line. When it launches in September, it will be a great chance to get some Gossip Girl style at budget-friendly prices!

The colours are all dark and they are all just wrong.
I think it’s very poor.
Well, let’s see…
It is Anna Sui(Luv her!) so she’s going to have to recreate looks from her runways and incorporate them with these characters, not the other way around. It was Gossip girl inspired, but obviously it was still gunna be very much Anna Sui. And judging by these characters’ personalities and Anna’s style, she did a great job! Blair is prim, proper, girly, and preppy. This is shown. Serena, although wild at times, is very classy, put-together, and fashionable. This is also shown. Jenny is the punk princess, the wild child, or that is where her character is headed. I can see that here. Now, Vanessa’s colors are monotonous, but I see her vintagey attitude in the patterns and colors. The colors aside, the looks for Vanessa are vintage, urban, trendy, and with a sexy tomboy twist to them. That’s Vanessa alright! Plus, Vanessa could only afford Vintage. I can see what Anna was trying to do. This is what the Gossip Girls would wear if they purchased Anna Sui.
Honestly when I saw this I was ooh but than when you see the pictures all four of the charters.It’s like one they are all the same colors.I wish there was more colors&options.Why does Vanessa has that same damn 70’s patterns.I thought Anna Sui would have done a great job.I just don’t like any of them.I don’t think I’ll be buying of them.I kind of like Jenny’s outfits because her style is kind of like mines but otherwise that everything is just meh&ehh.Hopefully there will be more looks&it won’t be a letdown but so far it’s a letdown
i like the looks except I can’t really see Serena wearing the last two inspired looks in her category. can’t wait for them to come out!
I love the blair looks but there’s not really a lot of variety within each character.All vanessas outfits look practically identical
these are all so gorgeous.
Great idea because I love the show, Blairs looks are on traget but would like more snooty prep school looks, BUT I think Jenny’s looks need more rocker edge, more old Courtney Love style and Serena needs more metalic gold.
EXCITING! I think G2 is a dumb show except I adore the clothes, both on the guys and girls!
I love how there is a basic color scheme for each character, although I wish the color scheme’s varied more from each other… I cannot wait to buy these looks! I am a dress girl, I wear them almost everyday so this is totally up my alley! And these are outfits you can were for almost any occasion… perfect! Will these looks be available online do you know?
I like the Serena and Blair ones the best. Vanessa’s looks have too much brown and orange in them
Surprisingly I like more of the Blair’s than any of the other girls. I’ve always admired her style on the show, but never really thought it was “me.” My favorites – the 5th Blair look and second Vanessa one. Thanks for the update! I’ve been looking forward to this line.

i like vanessa’s looks best…the other?neah,they have nothing in common with the show.
I like the looks, but I feel that they’re not really anything special. There seems to be a lack of variety.

I really like Blair’s looks! I will definitely be picking up a couple of these looks! I’m not at all into Vanessa’s looks. I can’t stand that orange color. It looks too much like an old 70s couch!
