Starship Entertainment, a South Korean entertainment company that is home to many K-pop artists (including Jeong Se Woon, whom we covered previously,) has recently released a song called “Christmas Day,” a special holiday collaboration that features its many artists. Check out the music video below!
I was inspired by the looks and the colors in this music video to create three festive outfits inspired by K-pop. Here they are below!
Table of Contents
Festive Outfit 1
Products: Dress – H&M, Coat – Topshop, Necklace – J.Crew, Shoes – Topshop, Tights – H&M, Clutch – Nordstrom
For this first look, I wanted to create a holiday party outfit. To begin, I took a short red velvet dress and styled it with a long white coat, tights, and embellished ankle boots, then accessorized with a pearl necklace and a small clutch. This is an outfit that makes a statement, and a bold red lip would go beautifully with it.
Festive Outfit 2
Products: Coat – Madewell, Sweater – Topshop, Leggings – Modcloth, Watch – Leonard & Church, Boots – H&M, Earrings – ASOS
This next look is a tomboyish, chic look that I created by pairing a cable-knit sweater with black velvet leggings, then adding a plaid coat, chunky Chelsea boots, and burgundy socks. I finished this look by accessorizing it with a black and gold watch and jewel drop earrings for an extra pop of color.
Festive Outfit 3
Products: Sweater – American Eagle, Skirt – Modcloth, Jacket – Forever 21, Shoes – Nordstrom, Earrings – H&M, Purse – Topshop
This last look screams Christmas. I paired a green sweater with a red plaid pencil skirt, then added a white faux-fur jacket, mary-jane pumps, fun holiday earrings, and a black crossbody bag. This retro-meets-modern look is sure to put you in a merry mood.
