Do you struggle with transforming your outfits from day to night? Don’t worry, CF is here to help turn that daily annoyance into a fun challenge. Class to Night Out focuses on one piece per week, and aims to help you take your look from study sessions in the library to dancing the night away.
When one thinks of summer, pants don’t usually come to mind as an essential item. However, this summer, palazzo pants are an easy way to look trendy and stay totally cool. In fact, the easy, breezy materials of this season’s palazzo pants make them possible to wear on even the hottest of days.
Palazzo pants were all over the spring runways, and design houses like Elizabeth and James, Topshop, and Marc Jacobs showed just how versatile these chic trousers can be. In this post, I’ll be showing you how to style this essential summer pant for both class and a night out. Scroll down to see both looks:

Palazzo Pants: Class
Product Information: Pants, Top, Sandals, Bag, Rings, Lipstick, Mascara
Lighten up these black palazzo pants and create a more summery look for class by pairing them with a silky, peach-toned cami with lace detailing. Throw on some studded black gladiator sandals, which will look fabulous peeking out from underneath your pants while you’re walking.
Accessorize with a roomy black tote bag and a cool stack of silver rings, then finish off the ensemble with a matte lip and a touch of mascara.
Palazzo Pants: Night Out
Product Information: Pants, Top, Heels, Bag, Bracelet, Bronzer/Blush, Eyeliner
These palazzo pants feature a higher waist, so pair them with a black cropped halter top for a night out. This backless crop top will show just enough skin for a night out, but still looks very chic and classy. Add neutral platform sandals to make your legs look insanely long.
A chartreuse cross-body bag lends a summery pop of color, while a natural-hued beaded cuff gives the outfit a slightly boho vibe. For your beauty look, give your skin a warm, shimmery flush with a blush and bronzer, then make a statement by painting on a teal cat eye.

Nice outfits.. I’d have preferred to see a post with a printed pair though! Black doesn’t exactly scream summer!
Both outfits are more suited for “night” imho, the cami in the first one is a little lingerie-ish and not something everyone would be comfortable wearing to an academic setting.
I love the palazzo pants I just made! I can’t wait to use this inspiration with them 🙂
I love Palazzo Pants but I can never find any that don’t drown me! Short girl problems! LoL! Maybe I’ll just find the perfect pair and take them to the tailor’s. Love the outfit ideas!

It’s amazing how things cycle back around. But this time, no, I will not give into the palazzo pants!
I don’t really care for baggy pants. I really prefer skinny jeans. Otherwise, cute outfit!
