In every young woman’s life, there comes a time when you just need to escape. During these trying times, you need to be surrounded by the type of love only your girls can give you.
For example, remember when Mr. Big left Carrie at the altar? Instead of letting her wallow in her own despair, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte whisked her away on their own type of honeymoon. The type of honeymoon where Charlotte poops her pants and they all laugh till they pee their pants!
A girls trip is needed for so many more reasons than just to escape a tough experience. But, don’t take my word for it!

Here are 3 reasons why you and your girls should plan a getaway:
1. Life is hectic!
Between school, work, and other responsibilities it is often hard to find time to take a break and just be with friends.
A girls trip is the ultimate opportunity to unwind and reconnect with the ladies who know you the best. Whether you need a spa to fill you with zen or a wild beach trip to make you feel fun again, take the leap and plan it.
The most important part is that wherever you are and whatever you’re doing, it will be a memory made with your best girls!
2. Girl Talk
Wow, yes! Everybody needs it and a trip is the perfect opportunity to have it.
Whether you’re spending time talking about boys, bucks, or booze, a trip is the perfect opportunity for you to pour out your heart and soul without fear that there won’t be anyone to fill you back up when you’re done.
A girls’ trip allows for complete honesty and unwavering support from the people who love you the most!
3. Why not?
You can always think of a reason not to go – you don’t have the time, it is too expensive, you have too many responsibilities, etc.
But if not now, when?
We are young and fun and this is the time to live our lives as our young, fun selves! Before long those excuses will be all too real and regret will set in.
This is our time!
But, how do you plan a girls trip? Follow these simple steps to make it happen:
1. Sit down and talk it out
This is the first and most important step in planning out a trip. After all, you cannot plan anything without talking it out first!
During this talk you need to plan out exactly what you want to do and how you are going to do it. Keeping lists and making agendas are really helpful in keeping it all organized.
Plus, with a set plan it is less likely for any of your girls to bail.

2. Set a realistic budget
Whether you are staying near, or going far, how much you spend is a make or break aspect of any vacation.
This is the point where you need to just accept that trolling any and all travel sites will be a must. Cheap flight rates can be found on many sites as well as cheap hotel rates; just make sure you are using private browsing mode so rates don’t get jacked up on you! (Yes, this is a thing.)
If you feel like being innovative there are many little ways you can save money while still achieving your dream girls getaway.
3. Coordinate dates
While a spur of the moment trip is always fun, it is more likely that you will want to plan your trip out in advance.
For financial purposes, planning earlier in advance is always better on the wallet. However, escaping popular travel dates can be very tricky. Traveling during off-peak seasons will allow for cheaper trips and less crowded destinations, but even when traveling on-peak there are things you can do to assure that the crowds won’t be too crazy.

4. Follow through!
Do it, do it, do it!
It’s easier to not go, but more memorable to be present on a great girls trip. I promise you that flaking on an experience like this will end up being a huge regret!
I know life gets hectic, and planning anything with multiple people is hard. But, I promise you, your girls trip will be completely worth it!
