The Olsen twins’ Elizabeth and James brand is all about contrasts that complement each other, in everything from clothes to accessories to makeup.
Though their well-loved Nirvana fragrances have been out for a while, they are worth checking out if you haven’t already. Each fragrance has its own unique personality and scent, but they also pair together perfectly, making them the ideal fragrances to adapt to your mood or occasion.

Here are two looks inspired by the Elizabeth and James Nirvana fragrances, which, though very different, have the same modern, bold, and trendy style the Olsen twins are known for:
Table of Contents
Nirvana Black
Product Info: Vest, Dress, Heels, Clutch, Nail Polish, Ear Cuff
The first fragrance, Nirvana Black, is described as “sensual” and “the perfect balance of masculine and feminine,” featuring notes of violet, sandalwood, and vanilla. To channel this vibe, try an edgy, monochromatic look that’s ideal for a night out.
Start with a feminine black lace dress, paired with a tailored, menswear-inspired vest. Accessorize with edgy black heels, a simple black clutch, black nails, and a hint of silver with a trendy ear cuff.
Nirvana White
Product Info: Tank, Pants, Sandals, Tote, Necklaces
The second fragrance, Nirvana White, is described as being “soft” with an “alluring sophistication,” with notes of peony, muguet, and musk. In contrast to the first look, pair this fragrance with a breezy, all-white ensemble that’s much more casual.
Start with wide-leg white pants and a draped white tank, then slip on a pair of comfy white sandals. Accessorize with simple layered gold necklaces, and add a woven white tote to keep with the monochromatic color scheme.

Have you tried Elizabeth and James’ Nirvana yet? Which scent is your favorite? Which look would you wear? Let us know in the comments!
I have both of these and the white one is my favorite, I love them both.
These are both really evocative of the scents. The white outfit, that is so “summer day-drinking”. And I think I need Black’s shoes.
I’m not yet a fan of the Nirvanas (tried Black before, just got a sample and will try it again), but I adore perfume and love the whole theme of fragrance inspiration.
I love these fragrances they are SO chic. One thing I would have also liked to see in this post, though, is a nod to the fragrances’ packaging. I love the mix of texture that the bottles could possibly evoke (quilted leather? studs? mesh?) and the sleek gold trim. If an additional section of accessories and individual pieces to mix-and-match were included in this post, that’s where I would find the inspiration.
